Welcome to Waves Enterprise; the Sirolli project for Central & South Liverpool. Waves Enterprise is a community based and owned not-for-profit organisation committed to positively influencing the ongoing regeneration of Central and South Liverpool. Based on the work of Ernesto Sirolli, Waves will harness the resources and passion of the people and businesses in South Liverpool to assist in the creation of new businesses and the growth of existing ones. A Sirolli project is completely community based and works from the bottom upwards. We will focus upon grass roots economic development which is relevant to Central and South Liverpool. We will assist both existing businesses and new entrepreneurs to realise their ambitions. We will support businesses and new entrepreneurs in areas where they lack knowledge. We will assist businesses to in their quest for success. The Sirolli approach to economic development has successfully helped entrepreneurs in communities in many parts of the world and we are now repeating that success right here in Central and South Liverpool Vital Statistics. To the end of October 2008 Waves Enterprise had: Assisted 164 clients Helped to create 16 new businesses Helped to develop 26 businesses Helped 17 businesses with a 'Minor Tune up' Helped to create 22 jobs Helped to retain Approximately 30 jobs Waves Enterprise currently has 39 active clients.   Would you like to be involved?
